Messages: 232. hi. anyone know if there are any differences between the PC version of NFS: Underground compared to the console version? i think people have said that NFS:HP2 was different on console compared to PC in terms of options and stuff like that. so does anyone know what differences there are? and if so, which is the better

Imo it's the open-world feature, which are in its embryonic stage at that time, are what makes the game boring. I agree that Underground 1 were not as boring as 2 because even though the race tracks were pretty much repetitive, you'll jump right onto the race where as in Underground 2, you had to travel between places to get to the races, and it's becoming a chore when you unlocked more areas

Facts. I like it more as well. The progress in nicely paced and the handling is just really good imo. Nicely direct and kind of on rails to better nail the racing line and be fast. Ug2 wasn't the first open world racer. The first open world racing game was Turbo Esprit that released back in 1986.
