Yes I dont trust my Audi dealer since then. Paid 80 euros for rethreading, for no reason since oil dripping continued. Few days after oil level dropped to 50%. Went to a local mechanic (I was on holidays) only to observe that wall of drain plug was cracked and I needed new oil sump. It was a nightmare. yes the oil pan/sump is and was made of steel.
