To the best of my knowledge: VW doesn't use Adblue in the 1.6tdi of the Golf but does use a 1.6tdi SCR on newer models like T-Roc. Skoda uses Adblue on 1.6tdi but forget to mention it's an SCR engine. SEAT uses Adblue on 2.0 but doesn't say it's an SCR engine. Again to best of my knowledge, they still don't use Adblue on their 1.6tdi.
