Citroen C4 2006 - Reprogramming Citroen C4 remote key. The battery was flat in the remote control key to car. A friend took the battery out and told me to get it replaced.    Now on enquiring from Halfords, apparently unless the battery is replaced with new one within 10 minuites, all the programme data is wiped off and key will need reprogramming.

So I dismantled the entire boot lid and removed switch and lock, car still wouldn't lock only thing left was the wiper disconnected it and bingo car locked fine put it back together and switch and boot lock operated as normal. 3. I have acquired a Citroen Picasso C4 Tow bar at a sensible price. I hope this is going to fit my Grand Picasso. Naturally the Tow Bar specialists are shaking their heads and slowly taking breath (they want me to presumably buy their £180 one!) Are there any differences to the tow bar fitments between the Picasso and the Grand Picasso?
Fri Dec 16 2011, 11:08am. I have 2007 Grand Picasso. When it started to get frosty we have had engine management faulty, handbrake faulty and service light come on. You cannot drive the car as it will only rev to 2000. After several attempts of starting, it will drive with service light on but not on full power.

When I open the top half of the boot I can hear the microswitch operating, but when I press the plastic handle for the main boot, there is no click. ycalwM.
