Z3 M43 1.8 (1999) and Z4 E85 2.5 (2003) Aug 5, 2019. #7. Common prtoblem with the alarm tilt sensor in the boot getting flooded. Check out where the water is getting in, common areas are the aerial grommet on the wing cracking with age and letting water in, also the high level stop light gasket going bad.

This post is to make owners of 2.5i, 2.5si and 3.0si Z4's about a known issue with the N52 engine (so also affects 3 Series etc) and the HVA's (Hydraulic Valve Adjusters) I have collected my car today from the dealer after having a complete new Cylinder head and internals replaced at a cost of over £
7. Lots of Luggage Room. Earlier, we mentioned how the E85 has a surprising amount of room up front for the driver and passenger. We’re pleased to report that this car is also sporting a surprising amount of room in the back as well. There is over 10 cubic feet of trunk space in the back. Considering picking up an 2004 E85 Z4 3.0 - 6M, Sport Package, Really nice shape. I am aiming to go look at the car tomorrow and am putting together some thoughts of questions to ask and common problems I should look out for and plan to resolve if I buy the car. The list I have going so far: Water Pump Failure Common. Cooling System in General.

Also the CD changer won’t play any of my discs, it says reading CD’s then nothing happens. No answer for the single cd player, but the cassette is a common problem. Sometimes a sharp 'rap' on the side of the cd
BMW Z4 misfire problem. by Ivo » Mon Oct 31, 2016 12:08 am. Hi, I am recently a new owner of a 2004 BMW Z4. Have had problems with the engine light coming on & the EML light. Also the engine misfires. Send it to the local dealer, they replaced one coil. When they returned the car after a day I had the same failure again. Ysi5f.
